Synopsis

A new school year brings change to Kitauji High’s concert band as senior graduations make room for an energetic group of freshmen. Now in her second year, Kumiko Oumae and her peers confront personality clashes and misunderstandings as the fresh members’ peculiarities disrupt the established dynamics. Over time, hidden emotions surface and relationships are tested; some disagreements ease, while others prove stubborn. As the ensemble prepares for regionals with their ultimate aim of reaching nationals, the students must work through strained trust and strengthen their connections to move forward together.
