Synopsis

Crimson Denizens infiltrate Misaki City to siphon human life energy, prompting Flame Hazes to prevent people from disappearing. Among them, Shana, known as the Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter, directs unusual attention toward Yuuji Sakai, a teenage boy caught up in the conflict after becoming tied to the magical artifact called the "Midnight Lost Child". While Shana fulfills her duty to shield humanity, she increasingly regards Yuuji as more than an ally, and Yuuji suspects she may have hinted at deeper feelings despite her unpredictable, distant behavior. Their routine is disrupted when a transfer student appears who strongly resembles a former foe. With the Bal Masqué organization preparing further assaults, Yuuji and Shana must confront external dangers and investigate the origins and significance of the object housed within Yuuji, all while managing the fragile, developing bond between them.
