Synopsis

Tsuda Takatoshi enters Ousai Academy after it transitions from an all-female school to a coeducational institution because of falling birthrates. As one of the first-year male students surrounded by female classmates, he immediately clashes with student council president Shino Amakusa, who reprimands him on his initial day and creates a poor first impression. While being scolded he encounters other council members, and his morning culminates in being late for class. To atone for disrupting his start, Shino offers him a place on the student council for a variety of reasons; Tsuda, with little real choice, accepts. His acceptance marks the start of a daily life in which he increasingly perceives himself as the sole ordinary presence within the school's unusual environment.
