Two original video animations were released as DVD extras with manga volumes six and seven. The first OVA, authored by the manga's creator, serves as a prequel that depicts an earlier encounter between Rea and Chihiro at an outdoor hot-spring bath, taking place before the main narrative begins. The second OVA is set following the conclusion of the televised episodes and follows the Furuya family as they discover a mysterious young girl hiding beneath the household shrine.
