Synopsis

The Empire's forces have pushed across the continent and, after defeating the last of the Republic's army, appear close to total victory. Yet tensions rise in the East as the Russy Federation, guided by communist leadership, gathers troops along its western frontier with intentions to join the conflict. The Federation receives support from Allied volunteer magic users, including Mary Sioux, whose father was slain by Tanya Degurechaff, and aims to propagate its ideology to challenge the Empire. Tanya and her unit return to the imperial capital from the southern theater and are assigned to examine increased military activity on the Federation border. Any misstep or escalation there risks igniting fresh hostilities that could escalate into a catastrophic global war. The narrative follows the looming confrontation and the uncertain fate of the Empire as it faces formidable opponents and clashing political doctrines.
