Synopsis

After moving beyond his childhood school trauma, Jun Sakurada lives a quiet life as a college student and bookstore employee, yet he feels disconnected from those around him. He discovers a manual that explains how to craft a Rozen Maiden, and later finds a second volume delivered to his home along with parts for a doll. The deliveries abruptly end when he receives notice that the series will no longer be published. Left with an incomplete doll and a message from an alternate-version of himself, Jun becomes drawn into the realm of the Rozen Maidens, confronting the uncanny and unfamiliar forces tied to those lifelike dolls while coping with his lingering sense of not belonging.
