Synopsis

Haruko Mihashi, a college student who volunteers as a home-care nurse for seniors, becomes uneasy when her patient Kijuro Takazawa is moved into a Z-001 automated care bed. The device handles all physical needs with advanced technology but cannot offer the human warmth and empathy Haruko values. Her concern deepens after she receives a digital plea for assistance originating from the bed. Determined to intervene, Haruko and her friends enter Takazawa’s room and find that the Z-001’s onboard system operates with unexpected and far-reaching abilities, forcing them to confront the gap between machine efficiency and human compassion.
