Synopsis

Rin Asougi is an immortal private investigator who repeatedly survives gruesome deaths only to revive each time. Her longevity has made her the target of many who seek her demise, so danger is a constant in her life. In 1990, while searching for a missing cat, she encounters Kouki Maeno, a man troubled by memories that do not align with reality. Rin takes on his case and uncovers that Kouki is not what he appears to be. As she investigates, her path leads her toward a formidable adversary who has intimate knowledge of Rin and others like her. This foe poses a unique threat: if Rin falls to him, her usual pattern of resurrection may fail, placing her immortality—and her life—at genuine risk.
