Synopsis

After an encounter with oddity expert Izuko Gaen, third-year high schooler Koyomi Araragi finds himself waking in a quiet, deserted void where a familiar, cheerful face appears in an unsettling setting. Together with his girlfriend Hitagi Senjougahara, he navigates tangled memories and present uncertainties to seek explanations. Their path leads back to the peculiar transfer student Ougi Oshino, who proposes an unforeseen plan that could challenge the foundations anchoring Araragi. As he investigates a puzzling apparition and strips away successive layers of enigma, he uncovers a reality that was not meant to come to light.
