Synopsis

Gene Starwind has long wished to captain his own vessel, but he spends his days taking odd jobs with his companion James Hawking on the modest planet Sentinel III. Their circumstances shift when they accept employment from Rachel Sweet, who is secretly a treasure-seeking outlaw. Their assignment—to safeguard a mysterious young woman named Melfina—sets the pair on a course that alters their lives and sends them into deep space aboard the sophisticated craft Outlaw Star. Seihou Bukyou Outlaw Star chronicles Gene and his improvised crew as they traverse the final frontier pursuing the origins and purpose of Melfina. Along the way they face armed bounty hunters, marauding space pirates, practitioners of Taoist magic, and unusual allies such as catgirl companions, encountering peril and discovery as they probe the unknown.
