Synopsis

Six years prior at the Tower of Fang, an incident involving the enchanted blade Baltanders and the mage Azalie led to a catastrophic transformation: Azalie became a colossal dragon later called Bloody August. The Tower's elders chose to ignore the event rather than intervene, provoking deep disillusionment in Krilancelo, a young sorcerer who cared for Azalie. Repulsed by the elders' indifference, he renounced his former identity, adopted the name Orphen, and left the Tower and formal magical training behind. Now a wanderer, he is driven by a single purpose: to discover a means of reversing the curse and restoring Azalie to her previous human form.
