Synopsis

A minor deity who calls himself a 'Delivery God' ekes out a living performing trivial favors for five-yen payments, hoping one day to gain a following. Lacking any shrine or true recognition, his situation grows worse when his ritual weapon partner abandons him. When a middle school girl intervenes in a traffic accident to shield him, she survives but finds her spirit freed from her body. She insists that the god restore her normal state; learning that he needs a new partner to do so, he agrees to assist. Together, the reluctant deity and the girl begin a precarious partnership that may alter both their fates.
