Synopsis

In this continuation of Shirow's original anime, members of the Tank Police, including Al, Leona and their armored vehicle Bonaparte, face a new sequence of terrorist strikes in New Port City that employ cutting-edge weaponry. Facing superior firepower and numbers, the unit must investigate the origin of these assaults. The story mixes intense explosions, rapid pursuits and destructive encounters, during which Leona's pursuit tactics sometimes produce as much collateral damage as the offenders she chases.
