Synopsis

Hachiman Hikigaya begins the day skeptical about marriage, seeing it as an unnecessary institution and a false promise of happiness. His doubts are challenged when the Volunteer Service Club receives a request to help a local municipal magazine present marriage attractively to younger readers. The club's advisor, Shizuka Hiratsuka, and the other members lack direct experience with marriage, leaving them unprepared for the assignment. With only seven days before their deadline, the group has to rapidly understand the customs and nuances of the ceremony, relying on unconventional approaches to meet the magazine's needs while Hachiman grapples with his critical perspective.
