Synopsis

Takurou Mukoujima’s peaceful fishing routine at the docks is disrupted when he encounters Muromi, an exuberant mermaid who energetically inserts herself into his life. Her lively presence and habit of entertaining herself around Takurou contrast sharply with his desire for solitude. As Muromi begins inviting other oceanic and mythic visitors, the pier transforms into a frequent meeting place for unusual sea-dwelling beings. Each day brings new, unpredictable interactions that challenge Takurou’s attempts to preserve his quiet pastime, forcing him to navigate the comedic tension between his wish to fish undisturbed and the relentless activity that follows his boisterous companion.
