Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living quietly in a space colony. Her routine changes after meeting a war refugee called Nyaan, which leads her into the outlawed mobile suit dueling scene known as Clan Battle. Adopting the alias "Machu," she competes relentlessly, piloting the GQuuuuuuX in successive matches. During this period, an unidentified Gundam-type mobile suit appears, pursued by both the colony's space force and local police, and its pilot — a boy named Shuji — comes into Amate's life, altering the course of events.
