Synopsis

In the 21st century, humanoid robots known as reploids have become widespread after Dr. Cain uncovered an old laboratory and developed models inspired by an earlier design called Megaman X. One of these beings, X, serves with the Maverick Hunters, a force tasked with dealing with reploids that have become violent and dangerous. Working alongside the unit leader Zero and operating under General Sigma's authority, X participates in missions aimed at neutralizing rogue machines while confronting the moral and practical challenges of policing sentient constructs.
