Synopsis

Medabots are autonomous machines powered by special medals, often used in Robbatling, a competitive sport where two units duel. Professional competitors aim to qualify for the World Tournament and vie for the championship. Elementary student Ikki Tenryou comes into possession of his first Medabot, Metabee, an outdated unit lacking a medal. After discovering a medal by a river and installing it in Metabee, the robot's behavior becomes unpredictable: short-tempered and disobedient, Metabee resists Ikki's commands. To advance through ranks and pursue a place at the World Tournament, Ikki and Metabee must overcome their differences and learn to cooperate despite the challenges.
