Synopsis

On Bardos, an isolated island in the Aegean Sea, the sinister Dr. Hell commands an army of mechanized creatures from his hidden base, directing them with the power of his cane. His chief operative, the loyal Baron Ashura, executes the schemes conceived by their leader. Opposing this threat is Kouji Kabuto, a hotheaded young man driven by the desire to avenge his grandfather’s death at Dr. Hell’s hands. Kouji pilots Mazinger Z, a colossal robot constructed from the nearly indestructible Super-Alloy Z. Mazinger Z wields several potent offensive abilities: it can focus photonic energy into destructive beams from its eyes and perform the signature Rocket Punch strike that launches its fist at foes. As Dr. Hell sends wave after wave of mechanical beasts, Kouji and Mazinger Z stand as the primary line of resistance against the spreading menace.
