Synopsis

Three previously unaired installments of Macross 7 expand character backstory and fleet drama without revealing key outcomes. The first episode pits the Macross 7 fleet against a renegade Meltrandi armada commanded by a long-standing adversary from Millia’s past, testing loyalties and leadership. The second episode traces Ray’s history as a combat pilot, showing the circumstances under which he first encountered Basara and the events that led them to create the band Fire Bomber. The third episode follows Millia as she becomes ill and, feeling her remaining time is limited, pushes for Mylene to be formally connected to Basara, creating emotional strain among the crew.
