Synopsis

Keitarou Urashima, who as a child promised to enter Tokyo University alongside a girl he hopes to reunite with, faces uncertainty at age 20 after failing the entrance exam twice. Seeking a fresh start, he accepts his grandmother’s invitation to live at her inn, thinking solitude will help him prepare. On arrival, he finds the inn converted into a female-only dormitory occupied by five residents: Naru Narusegawa, an academically driven peer also aiming for Tokyo University; Mitsune Konno, a playful freelance writer; Kaolla Su, an energetic inventor; Shinobu Maehara, a shy girl learning to adapt; and Motoko Aoyama, a serious kendo practitioner. Although they initially greet him with resistance, Keitarou takes on the role of building manager and begins navigating daily life among the tenants. As he learns about each woman’s personality and habits, he continues to pursue his original goal of passing the exam and reconnecting with the girl from his childhood promise.
