Synopsis

Ten years following his defeat in the Fourth Holy Grail War, Waver Velvet has assumed the title Lord El-Melloi II and works as an instructor at the Clock Tower, the primary academy for mages. His lordship is constrained by a condition: he must follow the directives of Reines, the younger sibling of the late Kayneth El-Melloi, until she reaches maturity to govern the House of El-Melloi. Alongside his inscrutable apprentice Gray, Waver is tasked with investigating a succession of assignments issued by Reines and the Mages Association. Each inquiry grows increasingly intricate, suggesting concealed layers within the Clock Tower and raising questions about Reines’s hidden motives and the deeper mysteries surrounding their environment.
