Synopsis

Yukitaka Tsutsui leaves Tokyo for high school in Yamagata after earning a baseball scholarship, carrying expectations from locals who know his reputation from a top middle school program. Upon arriving at his new apartment, he discovers a peculiar man casually reading and wearing his clothes. The stranger declares himself an extraterrestrial who crash-landed and has nowhere to stay. Identifying himself as Baka Ki El Dogra, crown prince of the planet Dogra, he is revealed to be one among many aliens living on Earth. Despite his royal background, the prince is notorious for foolish, disruptive behavior: imposing absurd trials on his followers, granting odd abilities to random children, and generally causing trouble for those around him. The story follows the impact of the prince’s thoughtless antics on Yukitaka and the community as they cope with his unpredictable presence.
