Synopsis

The Crimson Demons are a feared clan famed for potent, unconventional magic—Megumin and Yunyun's home. When Yunyun delivers a letter warning of an impending catastrophe for their village, she alerts Kazuma Satou and his companions. What begins with chaotic misunderstandings reveals the message was intended as a prank by a fellow demon with literary ambitions. Despite this, Megumin grows concerned for her relatives and, with Kazuma's group, travels to the Crimson Demon settlement. The party initially spends time exploring Megumin's birthplace, appreciating its peculiarities, but they soon confront the unsettling possibility that the supposed hoax might conceal a genuine threat.
