Synopsis

In his second year at Naoetsu Private High School, Koyomi Araragi encounters Tsubasa Hanekawa, the class’s exemplary student, who mentions a startling rumor about a pale, blonde vampire with icy eyes seen in town. Dismissing the tale after a friendly exchange, Araragi continues his evening until he notices blood spatters descending into the subway. Compelled by curiosity, he traces the marks into the station and discovers the rumored vampire in a horrifying state of dismemberment. When the wounded stranger calls out for assistance, Araragi faces a decision whose consequences could alter the course of his life.
