Synopsis

Seventeen-year-old Katsu Kaizou is naïve and fixated on science fiction, aliens, ghosts, UFOs, and conspiracy theories, interpreting ordinary events as part of extraterrestrial schemes. After joining his high school science club and making friends there, he becomes involved with a succession of odd, self-contained episodes. These encounters include uncanny phenomena and threats such as humanoid tree figures, lethal sushi, unconventional weapons, frightening infections, robotic incursions, apparitions, animated dolls, and other surreal occurrences, all unfolding with an absurd and unsettling tone.
