Synopsis

Nanami Momozono serves as the land deity of Mikage Shrine while Tomoe, her fox familiar, has lived by her side through many trials. Their relationship is tested by a proposition from the wealthy god Ookuninushi: if Tomoe is granted a human life, he will need to learn to exist as a person, and Nanami would relinquish her divine post to become human again. As they contemplate this possibility, the pair consider their future together and revisit memories of the challenges they overcame. With Nanami approaching the milestone of finishing high school, she confronts how daily life might change under the new circumstances. Regardless of which course they select, the bond between Tomoe and Nanami remains at the center of their story.
