Synopsis

Takumi Fujiwara becomes part of Ryousuke and Keisuke Takahashi's new venture, Project D. The trio pursue two linked aims: Ryousuke seeks to test and refine his experimental High-Speed Street Racing Theory, while Keisuke and Takumi look to elevate their driving by confronting stronger rivals on hazardous mountain routes. Project D issues organized challenges to street teams from other prefectures, targeting improvements in both uphill and downhill performance. To draw elite competitors and document their progress, Ryousuke establishes an online platform announcing upcoming matchups and publishing the team's results. This season chronicles the trials and achievements of Project D's members as they strive to establish themselves as the foremost street racing team beyond Gunma Prefecture.
