In a realm beyond the living, administrative disorder threatens the smooth operation of the afterlife. Hozuki, an unflappable and pragmatic demon, serves as the primary troubleshooter tasked with resolving mundane but persistent bureaucratic problems that arise while maintaining order. Despite his competence and calm demeanor, he privately longs for respite from the relentless responsibilities and the tedious demands of his position. The series balances procedural scenarios and darkly humorous moments as Hozuki navigates paperwork, personnel issues, and the odd crises inherent to managing the world of the dead, all while concealing his desire for a vacation.
