Synopsis

Karasuno High's volleyball squad reaches the decisive Spring Tournament final, where the victor will represent Miyagi Prefecture at the National Tournament. Their last obstacle is Shiratorizawa Academy, led by Wakatoshi Ushijima, one of the nation's top three aces and a three-year Miyagi champion. Karasuno is widely regarded as the underdog against a lineup of players with national recognition. After Shiratorizawa's captain delivers a direct insult to Karasuno, first-year players Shouyou Hinata and Tobio Kageyama commit themselves to overcoming that challenge and securing the prefectural slot. To succeed against a roster stacked with elite talent, Karasuno must draw on every skill and tactic they possess while maintaining their determination and teamwork.
