Synopsis

A new recruit arrives at Nekoma High's volleyball club: Lev Haiba, of mixed Japanese and Russian heritage, whose impressive stature earns him the self-assigned title of ace despite lacking fundamental volleyball skills. His raw physical advantage creates difficulties for the team's setter, Kenma Kozume, who struggles to sync with Lev's unconventional play. In an unexpected decision, the coach assigns Lev to participate in a practice match at Kunihira Senior High, forcing Kenma to work with the tall newcomer.
