Synopsis

After an elbow injury ends his baseball prospects, Hiro enrolls at a school without a team and gives up the sport he once loved. His childhood friend Hikari goes elsewhere, where she encounters top pitcher Hideo; they both wish Hiro had kept playing. At his new school, Hiro becomes part of the soccer squad and meets Haruka, an awkward girl who happens to be the boss’s daughter and who manages an informal baseball club on campus. When the soccer team provokes the baseball group with a match intended to demean them, the contest tilts toward an upset. Repulsed by the soccer team’s arrogance, Hiro abandons his current side and joins the baseball club, confronting past choices and rediscovering his connection to the game.
