Haruka Nanase sets out for Sydney, a city tied to a cherished memory, as he approaches a new chapter in his swimming career. Shortly before departure he unexpectedly encounters an athlete he once faced at the All-Japan Invitational, stirring memories of those he has trained and raced alongside. Bearing the emotions of his teammates and rivals, Haruka steps into unfamiliar territory and readies himself for the challenges ahead. Awaiting him is a dominant figure in the sport, Albert Volandel. In the lead-up to the Sydney competition, each contender works to strengthen their resolve and clarify their reasons for competing, confronting their own motivations as they aim to perform on the world stage.
