Synopsis

On the last day of summer break, Kokona Aoba plans to spend meaningful time with her mother, but those plans are canceled because of work. Choosing to go out instead, she wanders a familiar route where many personal memories linger. Later, in mid-autumn, Hinata Kuraue and Aoi Yukimura look through a childhood scrapbook. While exploring Aoi’s room, Hinata discovers an unusual acorn that Aoi has kept for years without remembering why. The acorn’s reappearance triggers a surge of buried recollections, prompting Aoi to reflect on a long-forgotten episode from her younger days. Across gentle moments with family and promises made in the past, Yama no Susume: Omoide Present depicts the three girls as they honor their existing memories and create new ones to hold onto.
