Synopsis

Aoi Yukimura, a timid first-year high school student troubled by heights, resumes her mountaineering outings alongside Hinata Kuraue, an exuberant friend. The group includes middle schooler Kokona Aoba and experienced upperclassman Kaede Saitou as they tackle backyard camping, summer assignments tied to the outdoors, and an ascent of their longed-for peak. Traveling to various trails around Japan, they encounter different slopes and obstacles, form deeper bonds through the shared pursuit, and befriend others along the way. From modest hills to prominent summits, the team faces setbacks and successes together, supporting one another as they advance in skill and confidence without revealing key plot developments.
