Synopsis

After brains and brawn collaborate, Senkuu aims to trace the source of the green light that once turned humanity to stone by traveling to the planet’s opposite side. To make that voyage possible he must construct a vessel. The hull rises quickly with assistance from Tsukasa Shishiou’s former followers, but the crew lacks an experienced captain. They discover Ryuusui Nanami, heir to a major maritime empire and expert in sailing, frozen in stone. Despite Ryuusui’s abrasive character, Senkuu decides to revive him and gamble on his expertise. Ryuusui is invigorated by the idea that the rebuilt society has no existing claims, and he considers seizing opportunity for himself. Before he can accept command and steer the ship across perilous waters, Senkuu and Ryuusui must secure the essential power source for the voyage: oil.
