Synopsis

A sudden, blinding green light freezes humans worldwide, leaving every person turned to stone just as high-schooler Taiju Ooki is about to confess his feelings for Yuzuriha Ogawa. Millennia pass and Taiju regains consciousness to a world reclaimed by nature, where human society has vanished. He soon finds another living person: Senkuu, a scientifically brilliant friend who has been active for several months. Senkuu proposes an ambitious project to reconstruct civilization through scientific knowledge, and Taiju’s physical strength complements his plans. Together they discover a way to restore people from their petrified state, but their efforts provoke ideological conflicts among those who return to life. Meanwhile, the origin of the global petrification remains unanswered, shaping an atmosphere of mystery amid their struggle to revive humanity.
