Synopsis

Nobita wants to confirm the Monkey King's existence, so Doraemon lets him use a virtual game console that recreates the era when Sanzo began his pilgrimage and provides the Monkey King's attire. Nobita fails in his attempt, and he and his friends complete the game without engaging any demons. Afterwards they discover their present is under demonic rule because Doraemon left the console active in the past, allowing demons to emerge and spread. To halt the incursion and restore their world, Doraemon and the group must travel back in time and confront the demonic threat.
