Synopsis

Set in a future where a European metropolis has expanded into concealed subterranean levels that hold links to earlier times, the story follows Mihai, a former assassin who has returned to civilian life and shares a home with Kiri, now operating a restaurant. Nearby, Naoto, a swordsman, and Haine, a white-haired figure who is the result of genetic manipulation, move through the city accompanied at times by Badou, who wears an eyepatch. Together these characters navigate a tense environment shaped by secretive lower tiers beneath the city, where remnants of the past influence present relationships and conflicts without revealing their deeper secrets.
