The World Welfare & Works Association dispatches its leading operatives to uncover the truth. Their mission becomes increasingly hazardous as they confront a deranged scientist aiming to awaken and advance an ancient extraterrestrial lineage, while a cunning thief pursues a rare World War II–era bottle of wine. With danger, disorder, and large-scale destruction mounting, the agents must navigate competing agendas, escalating violence, and unpredictable threats as they work to resolve the most chaotic case of their careers.
