Synopsis

When unbeaten street fighter Masaru Daimon first encounters the rogue Digimon Agumon, their bond is forged through an intense, mutual fight that suits their blunt, impulsive natures. Declaring themselves the "ultimate team," they are enlisted by a covert government unit called the Digital Accident Tactics Squad (DATS), recruited after agents witness a human trading blows with a Digimon. Tasked with probing unusual incidents stemming from Digimon crossing into the human realm, Masaru and Agumon operate amid a crisis: Digimon are materializing at a scale never seen before. Assigned to field operations, the pair work alongside adolescent prodigy Touma Norstein and his partner Gaomon, and the compassionate Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda with her Digimon Lalamon. As the team pursues missions to contain and understand the phenomenon, their investigations begin to expose a deeper, more troubling reality behind the sudden influx of Digimon.
