Synopsis

After prior events restored routine life, a recurring on-screen emblem begins appearing across Japan on computers, TVs, phones, and game consoles—an icon seeking specific individuals. Its target: Yagami Taichi and Ishida Yamato, who once defeated the same entity. The emblem represents Diablomon, the Virus-class Digimon from the earlier conflict, now able to manifest physically and dispatch countless copies into the real world. Koushiro and Ken develop a strategy to eliminate the virus, but success requires cooperation from every Destined, both former and current. As they race to thwart Diablomon’s scheme—shrouded in new uncertainties—the group must weigh whether Omegamon’s return can counteract the enemy’s numerical advantage, or whether the proliferation of replicas will overwhelm even that champion. Unfamiliar combatants and newly learned techniques change the balance, and the battle’s outcome will determine Tokyo’s survival.
