Synopsis

After losing loved ones, people sometimes desire their return, a vulnerability the mysterious Millennium Earl uses to create Akuma—mechanized beings powered by summoned souls. Once a spirit is bound to an Akuma, it remains imprisoned unless freed through exorcism with the Anti-Akuma implement known as Innocence. Allen Walker, having trained under General Cross for three years, is assigned to the Black Order, an organization dedicated to combating Akuma and opposing the Millennium Earl. Armed with an Innocence-integrated arm and a cursed eye that reveals the tormented souls inside Akuma, Allen and the Exorcists must confront the Earl’s overarching scheme, which threatens global annihilation.
