Synopsis

In a world where vampires live covertly within society’s margins and do not need blood to live, intense feelings can trigger a savage surge of bloodlust that transforms them into dangerous predators. Tsukasa Taira, a 22-year-old college student, becomes aware of this hidden community when a long-time friend reveals himself to be a vampire following a tense clash with Yuuki Anzai, a being with both human and vampire traits. After her friend is taken into custody, Tsukasa finds herself increasingly attracted to Anzai, and he, albeit reluctantly, begins to return her affection. Their relationship unfolds under the constant threat that Anzai’s darker impulses may overwhelm him, placing their fragile bond at risk and forcing both to confront the peril inherent in loving across a dangerous divide.
