Synopsis
This side-story of Darker than Black, often referred to as Episode 26, unfolds alongside the timeline of Kuro no Keiyakusha. The Syndicate assigns Hei and his operatives to recover items connected to a deceased contractor, believed to be interred beneath a cherry tree. At the same time, Misaki Kirihara and her colleagues prepare to attend the Cherry Blossom festival, creating a parallel civilian presence amid the covert retrieval mission.
