Synopsis

In the year 2808, the city of Oedo (formerly Tokyo) relies on a Cyber Police unit that incorporates three incarcerated individuals into its ranks. These convicts are offered incremental reductions to their life sentences for each successful assignment they complete. To enforce compliance, authorities fit them with engineered collars that will detonate if tampered with or if a mission exceeds its allotted timeframe. The arrangement forces the trio to undertake high-risk operations under tight deadlines while living under constant threat of the collars’ consequences.
