Returning from the Island Special Examination, first-year students of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School confront another high-stakes assessment where both class and individual rankings matter. The new test introduces a complex rule structure that complicates strategy and raises tensions across competing groups. Kakeru Ryuuen, furious over the results of the prior exam, aims to dominate the competition by any means, escalating external threats to Class D. At the same time, Kei Karuizawa, a central support for Class D, struggles with personal trauma that jeopardizes her ability to hold the class together.
