Synopsis

The cultural festival ranks among the year’s key school events. Mizusawa High’s Karuta Club is organizing its contribution, but their captain, Chihaya Ayase, is temporarily not present for the preparation phase. First-year Sumire Hanano views this gap as an opportunity to pursue a personal goal: she hopes that by staging a dramatization inspired by Genji Monogatari she can finally make her fellow club member, Taichi Mashima, reciprocate her feelings. The atmosphere blends the earnestness of club activities with personal longing as members ready a classical-themed play without revealing outcomes or altering established dynamics.
