Cells inside the human body remain active around the clock, each day bringing fresh tasks and discoveries. Hakkekkyuu U-1146, a conscientious neutrophil, hurries through tissues seeking harmful pathogens that threaten bodily health. Though his work puts him in constant peril, he finds purpose in safeguarding the joyful presence of Sekkekkyuu AE3803, the platelet team, his fellow neutrophils, and other cellular companions he encounters. During his recent missions, U-1146 learns that even important cells can err and that some bacteria are not necessarily hostile. They all face difficult days, yet problems are resolved through mutual support and cooperation. Ultimately, these events unfold as part of another ordinary day for the diligent cells tending to the body's well-being.
