Synopsis

Oosawa Maria, a Japanese photographer based in Shanghai, teams up with her colleague Mino to seek out notable stories across the city. Their routine inquiry into unsettling occurrences at a local festival draws them into a confrontation involving unidentified masked attackers and an enigmatic white-haired woman. As Maria risks becoming collateral in the turmoil, an acquaintance named Canaan intervenes to ensure her escape. The situation escalates into a darker scheme centered on a lethal virus, forcing Canaan to face unresolved elements of her history if she hopes to halt those responsible and protect her companions.
